Excursions around Luhačovice

The surroundings of Luhačovice offer a wide range of attractive excursion destinations – from beautiful natural landscapes and cultural highlights to remarkable historical landmarks. Thanks to its diversity, the Zlín Region is one of the most interesting travel destinations in eastern Czechia.

Here, three traditional folklore regions meet: the distinctive Wallachia (Valašsko), the hospitable Slovácko, and the fertile Haná plain. Within a relatively small area you can explore spa towns, vineyards, gentle hills and mountain landscapes. Traces of the Great Moravian Empire, valuable historic buildings and the unique functionalist architecture of the Baťa era shape the cultural heritage of this remarkable region.

Zlín and Surroundings

Zlín is the economic, cultural and industrial centre of eastern Moravia. The city owes its unique functionalist character to the long-standing presence of the Baťa shoe company, which created a visionary urban concept here in the first half of the 20th century.
